Brothers and sisters, I have noticed that gasoline prices are excessive. Often I have to pay over four dollars a gallon, and it is over five in some areas. There are a lot more people on bicycles now. People buying electric bicycles is on an increase. People have to choose between food and car insurance, An e-bike is great because they are cheap to own. Walmart has some for less than $300 each and they are nice.

Often I do wonder about safety and that is a serious concern. Still, people are trying desperately to save some coins. Gasoline has become very expensive. These are difficult times we are in.

Food is getting very expensive. Last week I paid $11.99 for a dozen organic pasture raised eggs. That is almost one dollar per egg.

Operating an average car... well, has become very expensive. It is not just repairs. Also, there is gasoline and car insurance. These keep on going up.

People cannot pedal for miles and miles, so many buy an e-bike for transportation around town to save some money. Sadly, e-bikes are not that pleasant when it rains.

Also, there are some safety concerns. For example, if a car runs a red light and crashes into you... like you can die or suffer serious injuries. This one reason... that a lot of people are hesitant to get one. Still, a lot of cites are building bike paths to make the transition easier.

There is a man in a neighborhood near mine... that crashed his car. He drives an e-bike now. Well, he does not have to pay excessive car insurance.

However, I feel sad for him because riding an electric bicycle is a pain in the rain.

O beying Gods law is very important for us. In fact. Jesus Christ says:

John 14:15
If ye love me, keep my commandments.

These are the ten commandments that God did write with His finger on two stone tablets for us. 

Jesus Christ also gave us a new commandment.

John 13:34-35
I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, so also you must love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.

I often refer to this as the 11th commandment, but there it is. God is a God of love and he loves us. We, his children, should try to do the same.

God is a loving Father, and I believe that all the laws that He has given us... they are for our own salvation to benefit us.

Think of it this way. Your earthly father tells you to eat vegetables and not candy, but say vegetables tastes gross. I want to eat candy and ice cream. Well, those are full of sugar. The Holy Bible tell us:

Proverbs 25:27
It’s not good to eat too much honey, and it’s not good to seek honors for yourself.
