What is the most important thing for us? OK so it is where we will spend eternity and that is a choice that we make while we are here on Earth about where we will go.

Here is what Jesus Christ says:

Matthew 7:21
Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

Doing God's will is important for us. OK, so we do need to find out what His will is. Well, God gave us the ten commandments which He wrote with His finger on two stone tablets and gave to Moses.  

Hey, some people say that the law was nailed to the cross. That we don't have to obey it any more. Well, those people are liars and that will join Satan in the Lake of Fire where the evil go.

Most of God's ten commandments are obvious such as no lying, no stealing, no killing and so on.  Sadly, some people say it is impossible to obey God and they don't try even. 

I don't need to tell you where they are going, Here the full bible verse:

Matthew 7:15-23
Beware of false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Are grapes gathered from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. So then, by their fruit you will recognize them.

Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’

Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness!’

God does not like those who do not follow His laws. However, we need to understand that God is our Father and he only wants the best for us. It s like a father who loves his son. He tells him to eat some vegetables and not eat candy. 

The son replies - vegetables taste gross.

OK, so this is true, but they are good for you. Candy is bad for you. Think of it as sweet poison.

In third grade the school teacher did an experiment for us. There were two rats in two cages. One rat was give good food such as fruits and vegetables and the other rat was given junk food such as candy.

The rat given the junk food could barely move. The rat given the good food was healthy and vigorous. It was pretty graphic for us kids, and the message was clear to us.

Christ told the rich young man.

Matthew 19:21
Jesus told him, If you want to be perfect, go and sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.

I believe this is real treasure and not a figure of speech as we see. Jesus could take him to paradise. OK, so if he ate from the tree of life, he could live forever in paradise and stay eternally young.

God tells us that if we over come... He will let us eat of the tree of life so we must over come sin.

Do understand what God tells us:

Revelation 2:7
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who overcomes, I will grant the right to eat from the tree of life in the Paradise of God.

God tells us to store up treasure in heaven where there is no vermin. This is good advice and we need to listen to our Heavenly Father and do what He tell us.

Matthew 6:19-21
Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

I hope that all of you who are reading this will be able to enter the glorious Paradise of God and live forever and ever.
