City

Cities are where most people live now. Ah yes, this was not always our case. For example, thousands of years ago... there were some cities, but most people lived in rural areas. In fact, back then human travel was a lot less than now. However, I do wonder if this big move to the cities is good for us. Mostly, I believe that cities are full of diseases and crime.

Let us say the truth as there is way too much crime. Most of these unfortunate events are in urban areas. Few crimes occur in rural regions.

A lot of violence is connected to roving gangs. These tend to congregate in big cities inside the inner core.

People should leave big cities and move to rural areas. There is a lot less crime. Basically, the time to move is now.

God says about Babylon:

Rev 18:4-5
Then I heard another voice from heaven say: “Come out of her, My people, so that you will not share in her sins or contact any of her plagues. For her sins are piled up to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.

Fact is, our God knows that if we stay in a bad place, we might be tempted to sin. He does not want us to sin. Also, let us understand that God does not want us to get the plagues that this evil city will receive.

By living in the countryside you can reduce your exposure. Still, there are those who like the big city and its unique energy. Also, jobs are so few in rural areas. However, remote work opens up new possibilities for us.

There is another way we are tempted to sin. It is looking at our computer screens. With satellites, the internet can reach even the most remote areas.

Peace

People want to live in peace. Already, there is too much worries. Hey, my Grandfather could remember back when he was a boy, people did not lock the front door. Back then, there was a lot less crime.

Fear is one reason... that motivates people to move to rural areas. Looking at a lake is so serene. In contrast, the city is so noisy.

Often we do worry, because danger does indeed appear to lurk in every corner. Street lights are an attempt to reduce crime.

John 3:20
All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed.

My teachers told me that most people want to be a success. They said you had to study hard and work hard to be a success. However, I do remember that the guys in school with new cars... let's just say they did not work at McDonald's making the minimum wage. Yeah, they had other occupations that were far more profitable if you know what we mean.

I can still remember seeing the fancy cars. Most of these guys would never go to college and I mean never.

Getting good grades was not at the top of their agenda, but they were swimming in money. It was like they had all the pretty girls interested in them and the guys that got the good grades had no girlfriends as in zero.

People who studied were considered nerds and they were social outcasts in my area.

Most of those guys with the fancy new cars... they engaged in crimes. However, I never saw any go to prison. What they told me is that they gave the police money. Then the cops would look the other way.

Fellow colleagues, this is Satan's world, as God has not begun His rule yet. It is important to remember the Lord's prayer.

The Lord’s Prayer

Our Father who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom and the power, and the glory, forever and ever.

Amen.

The will of God is done in Heaven, but not on earth as we see. I ask God that He rapture us and take us to Heaven away from this evil world that is full of sin.

Most people feel our situation is worrisome... as crime increases. Ah yes, fear has become a constant companion. The only solution the government offers is to take away our guns. I can assure you. That this action will not stop gangs. Already, they do not obey the laws and it will only weaken those that do obey and make them even more vulnerable than they already are.
