If I were the devil … If I were the Prince of Darkness, I’d want to engulf the whole world in darkness.

And I’d have a third of it’s real estate, and four-fifths of its population, but I wouldn’t be happy until I had seized the ripest apple on the tree — Thee. So I’d set about however necessary to take over the United States. I’d subvert the churches first — I’d begin with a campaign of whispers. With the wisdom of a serpent, I would whisper to you as I whispered to Eve: ‘Do as you please.’

“To the young, I would whisper that ‘The Bible is a myth.’ I would convince them that man created God instead of the other way around. I would confide that what’s bad is good, and what’s good is ‘square.’ And the old, I would teach to pray, after me, ‘Our Father, which art in Washington…’

“And then I’d get organized. I’d educate authors in how to make lurid literature exciting, so that anything else would appear dull and uninteresting. I’d threaten TV with dirtier movies and vice versa. I’d pedal narcotics to whom I could. I’d sell alcohol to ladies and gentlemen of distinction. I’d tranquilize the rest with pills.

“If I were the devil I’d soon have families that war with themselves, churches at war with themselves, and nations at war with themselves; until each in its turn was consumed. And with promises of higher ratings I’d have mesmerizing media fanning the flames. 

If I were the devil I would encourage schools to refine young intellects, but neglect to discipline emotions — just let those run wild, until before you knew it, you’d have to have drug sniffing dogs and metal detectors at every schoolhouse door.

“Within a decade I’d have prisons overflowing, I’d have judges promoting pornography — soon I could evict God from the courthouse, then from the schoolhouse, and then from the houses of Congress. And in His own churches I would substitute psychology for religion, and deify science. I would lure priests and pastors into misusing boys and girls, and church money. If I were the devil I’d make the symbols of Easter an egg and the symbol of Christmas a bottle.

“If I were the devil I’d take from those, and who have, and give to those who wanted until I had killed the incentive of the ambitious. And what do you bet? I could get whole states to promote gambling as the way to get rich? I would caution against extremes and hard work, in Patriotism, in moral conduct. I would convince the young that marriage is old-fashioned, that swinging is more fun, that what you see on the TV is the way to be. And thus I could undress you in public, and I could lure you into bed with diseases for which there is no cure. In other words, if I were the devil I’d just keep right on doing on what he’s doing. Devil you say, Mr Harvey, well he deceives the whole world. The devil is the father of the lie....

You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

Paul Harvey was a prophet as far as being 100% correct on what he stated back in 1965, but he fell short on how vast the deception would become.  Most of the areas in which the Devil has deceived people are not even discussed by so called "followers of Christ."  How could this have happened?  How could Satan have deceived the whole world that even God's chosen ones are fooled?

One of the areas that most people of God are still in the dark is the food supply.  The stratagem started slowly, stealthily, so people would not notice it. 

World War II was really the beginning of this great deception, and it started by taking many women away from their homes into the labor force to help in this "war to end all wars."  These women became used to their new source of income and continued to work outside the home after the war was over. Most were tired when they came back home each day and so, they began to buy already prepared food such as canned items and processed meats (bologna, ham, bacon, etc.)

Most people are still unaware that processed meats contain nitrites which cause cancer. Food in cans is not good for you either, as the food inside the can reacts with the coating lining the cans.

After World War II many new plastics were invented, and many households acquired freezers and therefore frozen foods stored in plastics.  A revolutionary frozen food mentality came about in which hardly any fresh food was bought any more. Most of the vegetables and fruits  came now in frozen plastic bags, or in the case of many fruits, in liquified form stored in plastic bottles or cardboard containers.  Then already cooked meals became the new trend --TV dinners, pizzas, and packaged dry foods.

Eating out became more prevalent. Both males and females would eat out during lunch time.  It extended to breakfast and dinner, as people started going to restaurants more and more.

In fact, many people go to a coffee house before they start work. They will eat something and drink a cup of coffee in the morning, then head for work.

Students eat in a cafeteria rather than bringing lunch from home. Those few that do that, typically eat a sandwich. I still remember in 6th grade pupils going home to eat lunch, but that is no longer the case. In fact, there are now many after-school programs that will keep students in school for even longer periods of time in order to allow both parents to work longer hours. 

The result is that a home cooked meal is now very rare. Workers are too busy and time is a scarce resource. Eating out is now common and most people are unaware of the health implications of eating a heavily processed, heavily altered diet.

Not only are the meals you eat in restaurants processed, but even the food in the grocery store has problems. It has been refined, genetically modified, full of pesticides, and herbicides, food additives, colorants, artificial flavors, artificial sweeteners,  and preservatives.

Companies such as Monsanto, producer of both round up herbicide and gene altered seeds, make billions of dollars yearly by keeping this information a big secret from the majority of American people. 

There is no liability for using genetically modified organisms (GMO) such as GMO corn or GMO soy.   GMO soy has been linked to infant mortality and sterility.

This should not come as a surprise. Scientists are tinkering in new areas, but basically, they do not understand nature or its processes. Monsanto does not bear any resposibilty for the damage that could occur from using round up or the seeds that they are selling. New legislation absolves Monsanto of any consequences.

God sees that we are destroying His creation with all the corrupted and tainted foods we crave, with all the acts of immorality that we have habitually accepted as "normal", with all the illegal and legal drugs that we consume, and with all the alcohol that we use to have our "happy hours."  Almighty God is right now wrathful with a nation that does not repent, but continues to play a deaf ear to all the warnings that are given to her.  It is my desire that you individually turn to God and ask for understanding so that you and your children could be protected... because for this nation, it is already too late.
