All Your Might

Being tired causes us to make more mistakes than average. God does not like to see... things we create that are of bad quality or full of errors. In fact, he says:

Ecclesiastes 9:10
Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the realm of the dead, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom.

Doing the job right takes more time, but it is well worth the extra effort as you reduce the number of errors. Please understand that God creates wonderful things in our universe. Look at how beautiful it is. People often create a mess. That does not please our creator any. He wants us to be similar to Him in many ways.

TIME

Time is our enemy. It does not allow us to accomplish all that we believe is necessary. Often, doing things takes longer than we anticipate, but we should try anyway. Also, I believe it is better to produce something even if it is not perfect than to do zero.

It is really important that our works be in accordance with what God expects of us. After all, He will judge us on our deeds and what we say.

Remember that hard work is necessary. God will look at our actions in order to reward us.

Romans 2:5-11
but, according to thy hardness and impenitent heart, treasures up to thyself wrath, in [the] day of wrath and revelation of [the] righteous judgment of God, who shall render to each according to his works: to them who, in patient continuance of good works, seek for glory and honor and incorruptibility, life eternal. But to those that are contentious, and are disobedient to the truth, but obey unrighteousness, [there shall be] wrath and indignation, tribulation and distress, on every soul of man that works evil, both of Jew first, and of Greek; but glory and honor and peace to every one that works good, both to Jew first and to Greek: for there is no acceptance of persons with God.

What is Your Fruit?

Question for you. What is your fruit?

Lemon Tree - sour fruit

God says:

Matthew 7:16-19
You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

What does God mean?

Basically, we know that He is looking at our actions and by that He determines where we will go. Just look at this other bible verse.

Matthew 25:41-46
Then He will say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave Me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave Me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, I was naked and you did not clothe Me, I was sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’ And they too will reply, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ Then the King will answer, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for Me.’ And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

Let us produce good fruit so we are not thrown into the fire.
