Bart D. Ehrman says half of the new testament
bible is a forgery. Writer Bart
Ehrman has been waging his war on God
for many years now. Fact is, he admits that he started out once as a
Bible believer but is now an agnostic.

This is the typical story of a person who
has fallen away. His book "Forged" is one
more attempt to destroy people's faith in God. Ehrman has
already written 20 books on religious matters and won two
Pulitzer prizes.

Stories like this pop up almost every other week. They are part of
the Devil's plan to weaken your faith in God.
Bart D. Ehrman says in his own words, "the Bible not only contains
untruths or accidental mistakes. It also contains what almost anyone
today would call lies."
It is the Devil who is a liar and the father of it. God is always on the
side of the truth.
Notice that few scientists say that Julius Caesar never existed.
However they seem to always say that Jesus of Nazareth never
was.
What is the reason? Well, most scientists are atheists who believe
in evolution. They lead lives filled with sin. Trying to
convince people that the bible is a forgery fits the pattern.
Notice that all the books written by Bart D. Ehrman are designed to sow
the seeds of doubt about God and his word.
But, when asked about the Koran, Bart D. Ehrman said, "Out of
concern for my personal safety, I don't say a thing." He
fears for his life. Well, Christians are not afraid to die, because they
know there will be a resurrection. The author of FORGED is afraid
because he knows full well that this life is the only thing he has. After
death comes judgment... and for some... the lake of fire. That is
the place where the Devil, the father of lies, is going.

Paul
says that in the last days scoffers will arise. These will mock the word
of God.
2 Peter 3
3
Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days
scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for
since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the
beginning of the creation.
The Devil called God a liar when he spoke to Eve.
God told Eve not to eat of the forbidden fruit or she would
die. Satan however, assured her that she would not die. Who
do you believe?
Genesis 3
1
Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the LORD
God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must
not eat from any tree in the garden’?”

The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the
garden,

but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the
middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’”
4
“You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. 5
“For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and
you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
The fact is that Eve died, Adam also died as he
also ate the fruit... and all their descendants die. The Devil
told Eve a lie, and he continues to lie. Believing the Devil
brings us suffering and eternal death. He is a liar and the father
of it.
John 8:44
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts [desires] of your
father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not
in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie,
he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
