The world we live in.... like it has changed a lot in the last 200 years. It is not just technology, but the way people act is a lot different now.

I have indeed noticed that reading books is not that popular now. Perhaps, a lack of time is one main reason. However, people still do spend many hours in front of their own TV seeing nonsense.

Years ago people spent a lot of time reading newspapers. However, most of us now use the internet or TV to get our news. It is very  important that we stay awake and to find out what is going on.

Ok. so there are many books, but the Holy Bible is the book of books in my opinion.

God does want us to worship other gods or build statues to them even.

Exodus 34:14
Do not worship any other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.

OK, so the Holy Bible is certainly a very important book for us. Still, we should study the world around us. Oh yes, we need to learn important lessons and think of earth as a learning experience.

Luke 21:36
But stay awake at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.
