TV

Yes cheap TV is all the rage. People do like their inexpensive screens. However, I do wonder about all the time we waste looking at other people do things while we lie idle doing zero.  Frankly, the solution is that we should go out and meet real people and do real things before our short lives are over.

Isaiah 40:6-7
A voice says, “Cry out!” And I asked, “What should I cry out?” “All flesh is like grass, and all its glory like the flowers of the field. The grass withers and the flowers fall when the breath of the LORD blows on them; indeed, the people are grass.

Let us find a better use for the precious time that God has given us. I do not want to complain, but things need to change and soon.
Fellow colleagues what we put into our minds is directly related to what we see. Make sure you monitor what you view. Bad thoughts can result from looking at bad images.

The thing is that our children often exposed to bad images. Sadly, in the internet age, this problem has been on an increase. People need to understand that the internet is full of filth now.

Jesus says if you love me, keep my commandments.

John 14:15
If you love me, keep my commandments.

I do think that we spend way too much time in front of our computer screens. Actually, we should do more exercise.

OK

There are people who say that the OK gesture is racism. Strange world we are now in. Actually, this expression first started to appear in the 1800's and there are many theories on OK and its origin.

My teacher in elementary school told me that the expression  came from President Andrew Jackson who was a poor speller and he would have his wife proofread his letters before he sent them out, and he would stamp them OK for "Orl Korrectt" his way of saying all correct and we kids found the story humorous, but that account is in dispute now.

I still remember asking people if they are OK, as that use to be a common expression. Well, we are slowly going into a world this is not so OK as we see.

Actually, the word OK is used throughout the world now. It is short and the meaning varies. People complain if I say a restaurant is OK as this is seen as a step down from excellent or awesome. Still, it does carry a positive meaning. It is only in the last few years... that the woke crowd has issued a claim OK is racism.

I do not believe that this world we are in is... like anything we would have predicted just a few short years ago.
