People are starting to worry. There certainly are a lot more severe  SHORTAGES now. It is like our on going crisis is never over.

Well, it is no longer just computer chips and toilet paper. I saw a lot of empty shelves in my grocery. I could not get bread or eggs. To get bread, I had to drive to a store that was fifty miles away.

Remember that people are stating to panic. 

Matthew 6:31-33
Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles strive after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you.

Remember the parable of the ten virgins:

Matthew 25:1-4
Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five were foolish. And five of them were wise. They that were foolish took their lamps, but took no oil with them: However, the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

Please do understand that the oil refers to supplies that we need to take with us. After all, we should have extra oil, extra food, and extra gas. This is so we can endure the storm that is coming soon.

God wants us to prepare. This scary day should not catch us unaware.

Make a list of critical items that you will need in the dark days that are coming. Plan to get extra as some of your friends will no doubt believe the fantasy that prosperity is just around our corner. They will come and beg you to help them when the hard times arrive.

Expect the laws to become more restrictive in the days to come. Most of us have seen lockdowns and the aftermath of closed malls and retail stores that will never reopen. The loss of jobs has been massive.

Oh yes, things do indeed appear a bit darker this shopping season. There are shortages of many items.

Hey, play time is over. What we need to do is prepare. Brothers and sisters, a major storm is coming. 

God says:
Proverbs 27:11-13
Be wise, my son, and bring joy to my heart, so that I can answer him who taunts me. The wise man sees danger and takes cover; but the fool keeps going and pays the penalty. Take the garment of him who posts security for a stranger; get collateral if it is for a foreigner.

God wants you to be wise. 

The enemy will claim that the shortages are caused by people hoarding essential goods that are necessary. However, we know the real reason. Sadly, this economic system is crashing and ripping apart at the seams.

A nation becomes morally bankrupt before it bankrupts its economy. What did you expect to see? Most people accept sin. A few even claim that if you do not accept perversion, that you are full of hate and you are the evil one.

Isaiah 5:20
Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

First we saw factories shut down, then warehouses were empty, then the local mall was closing, and now there are empty shelves in our grocery.

It is better that we plant a garden, than the empty shelves we should curse. Plant now while there is still time so you can produce what you need for God is warning us.
