People often wonder what sin in. Well, a few years ago, I saw the driver of a Coca-Cola truck, with his red uniform on, drinking a pepsi. He was scrunched down in his seat, but he had a conspiratorial grin. This action might get him fired, but it is not a sin. God tells us that sin is breaking His law and the punishment is death. That is why Christ had to die for us.

Often, people will desire the forbidden fruit simply because it is not allowed to us. Please remember that our actions have consequences. We have to repent of sin. That is breaking God's commandments, and we must commit ourselves to obeying His words.

God does not want us to sin. He says:

Matthew 5:48
Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. 

People who do sin... frankly, they do not know God.

1 John 2:4
Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him,

Many preachers point to this verse.

Romans 3:23 
For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God,

This is true, but we should strive to do the will of God, so stop sinning.
