Before

People will claim that things were better before in a previous era. They will point out to us... that there was less crime. Oh yes, it was a lot better years ago. They fondly pine... for the steam era. Maybe, some individuals do blame big cities and fast cars.

People think that things were wonderful when women wore dresses and men wore HATS, but I don't think so. God focuses on our actions and people were far from perfect in that previous era.

 

I don't think that God puts a lot of emphasis on the clothes that people can wear.

Oh yes, there are bible verses... that tell men not to dress up as women.

Deuteronomy 22:5
The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God.

Well, so far I have not found any Bible verses... that say that men have to wear hats when out in public, but if there are any... please do show me.

It is true that there was a lot less serious crime in our previous era. Sadly, our situation has gone from bad to even worse. Truly, I believe that we are in the END TIMES now.

Expect things to get even worse. The LAST DAYS are upon us. God says that it will be similar to the days of Noah.

Matthew 24:37-39
For just like the days of Noah were, so the coming of the Son of Man will be. For in those days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah entered the ark. And they knew nothing until the flood came and took them all away. It will be the same at the coming of the Son of Man.

Cheer up, Christ is coming back soon.

Worship

I already said in the previous month that we cannot worship both God and money.

Oh yes, I understand that we need money to go to the grocery. Food is not free for us. However, we do know that Jesus Christ did a miracle where He feed thousands of people and here it is.

and be glad for great is your reward in heaven. Well, that is for people who go to heaven.

Matthew 14:13-21
Now when Jesus heard this, he withdrew from there in a boat to a deserted place apart. When the multitudes heard it, they followed him on foot from the cities. Jesus went out, and he saw a great multitude. He had compassion on them and healed their sick. When evening had come, his disciples came to him, saying, “This place is deserted, and the hour is already late. Send the multitudes away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves food.” But Jesus said to them, “They don’t need to go away. You give them something to eat.” They told him, “We only have here five loaves and two fish.” He said, “Bring them here to me.” 19 He commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass; and he took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, broke and gave the loaves to the disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitudes. They all ate and were filled. They took up twelve baskets full of that which remained left over from the broken pieces. Those who ate were about five thousand men, in addition to women and children.

Jesus fed thousands of people. Most of us worry on money. That is because we need to go to the grocery. Food is expensive.

However, God says he will take care of us:

Matthew 6:25-27
Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air: They do not sow or reap or gather into barns— and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?

God takes care of the birds in our air. He can take care of us.

 Jesus is preparing a place for us.

John 14:1-3
Don’t let your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me.  In my Father’s house are many mansions. If it were not so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will receive you to myself; that where I am, you may be there also.
