Christians often wonder who God will take to Paradise. They think that only great people are going. What does Jesus say?

Luke 23:39-43
39 One of the evildoers hanging there was jeering at Him, saying, “Aren’t You the Messiah? Save Yourself—and us!”

40 But the other one, rebuking him, replied, “Don’t you fear God, since you are under the same sentence?

41 We’re getting what we deserve for our actions, and rightly so—but this One has done nothing wrong.”

42 And he said, “Yeshua, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.”

43 Yeshua said to him, “Amen, I tell you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise.”

This occasion allows us to see one person who really is going. He is not perfect. In fact, he was being crucified for his crimes.

Yeshua/Jesus told the Pharisees. "the tax collectors and prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God before you."

Matthew 21:28-32
“But what do you think? There was a man who had two sons. He went to the first one and said, ‘Son, go and work today in the vineyard.’ ‘I will not,’ he replied. But later he changed his mind and went. Then the man went to the second son and told him the same thing. ‘I will, sir,’ he said. But he did not go. Which of the two did the will of his father?” The first,” they answered. Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, the tax collectors and prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God before you. For John came to you in a righteous way and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and prostitutes did. And even after you saw this, you did not repent and believe him.

Christ wants us to enter His kingdom and for us to live with joy.

2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.

Let us try to do God's will and not our own. Remember that we do not have to be perfect to enter God's kingdom, but He will allow in repentant sinners.
